I think all Toads could be a good category, as it would utilise LBLJ, SBLJ, BLJs and of course good Castle movement so there's plenty of room to optimise!

Toad 1 spawn at 12 star toad 2 at 30 and toad 3 at 35 so its just a 30 star with 3 more normal stars and the 2 other toad star meh

well, the 30 stars category only gets stars from the bottom part of the castle, because of it's purpose of not being allowed to skip the DDD door; instead, in this category you can get the 35 stars from anywhere, which maybe could change considerably the route by adding stars from the top side of the castle

Also, for clarification, I don't mean all toad stars, I mean speaking to all toads. Guess it falls under what you're both saying but figure it could still be interesting especially given what KilleDragon is saying!

having to talk to every toad, not just the stars ones, also implies the toads in specific places inside various maps where you are forced to go, which may also change the route in an interesting way

@Joanbros ok btw just for clarification, doesn't the 3rd toad spawn at 50 stars?
